Vote Early in the November 3rd Election
You don’t have to wait until Election Day to cast your ballot.
Minnesota voters have options to vote before the Tuesday, November 3 General Election, including voting absentee beginning September 18 and early voting in person beginning October 16.
Eden Prairie and Minnetonka residents can use the information below to make a voting plan that works for them.
Voting Options Before Election Day
Beginning September 18:
You can request an absentee ballot and vote by mail at this link at the MN Secretary of State's Website. Ballots must be received by election day November 3 to be counted, so be sure to mail yours back with enough time for it to make it's way back through the mail.
Beginning October 16:
Early voting begins. During this period, voters can cast their ballot in person and place it directly into a ballot counter.
Monday, November 2:
Last day to vote before Election Day.
Tuesday, November 3:
Election Day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
